Novak Djokovic will lose his world no.1 rank on Monday to Daniil Medvedev. Novak was quick in congratulating Medvedev for his achievement. However, Djokovic is definitely not done and he will definitely try to take back his top position in the rankings. Nevertheless, the Serbian champion will have huge issues in his planning. In fact, being unvaccinated, Novak cannot take part in many events.

Will Djokovic play in Indian Wells and Miami?

Novak is on the entry lists in Indian Wells and Miami. Both tournaments will take place in March. However, at the present moment, being unvaccinated, Novak Djokovic is not allowed to travel to the US. Therefore, Novak needs to decide which events he will play in the next few months.

Daniil Medvedev will face the world no.103 Yoshihito Nishioka in the quarter on Thursday at 5:00 pm on ESTADIO. Their current head to head is 1-0 for Medvedev.
