RedCoach luxury bus transport service launces in Sarasota-Bradenton – Sarasota Herald-Tribune
Travelers between major Florida cities can now ride in style thanks to a new luxury bus service that’s now available in Sarasota.
RedCoach, an Orlando-based motorcoach company, has officially launched its service in Sarasota at 5820 Commercial Way at Interstate 75 and Fruitville Road.
Travelers can take RedCoach buses from Sarasota to Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida State University in Tallahassee, downtown Tallahassee, Naples and Ocala.
Buses offer a range of seats, starting at $15 for a one-way trip. The company offers first class, business class and economy seats, including bed-like chairs that recline up to 140 degrees, complimentary Wi-Fi, 110v power outlets, entertainment, reserved seating, bus tracking and no baggage fees.
In case you missed it: Strong tourism could mean higher tax revenue for Sarasota County
Florencia Cirigliano, RedCoach’s vice president of marketing and sales, said that RedCoach can be a good travel option amid rising gas and airline prices.
“RedCoach consistently strives to make travel affordable and seamless for our customers and, we hope that this new stop will offer those leaving or visiting Sarasota/Bradenton a travel experience that is stress-free and affordable,” Cirigliano said.
Gas prices have shot up in Florida and across the country over the past few months because of global reaction to Russia’s assault on Ukraine. Tourism officials have said it’s unclear how the increase could impact tourism in Sarasota-Manatee, as visitation is an all-time high, but local business owners have expressed concern that it will drive up their already increasing costs.
RedCoach was founded in 2010 and in 2021, it expanded into Texas. In addition to the aforementioned stops, the company also serves Fort Pierce, Kissimmee, Pompano Beach, the University of Central Florida, RedCoach headquarters in Orlando and West Palm Beach.
